After doing that very extensive meme last night, I decided that I would share some of the music that I used for inspiration when writing A Crooked Mile. Since it’s the most developed piece of work in my current arsenal it’s the one I’ve chosen to share the most about, so here we go!

  1. The Night We Met – Lord Huron
  2. Skinny Love – Bon Iver
  3. War of Hearts – Ruelle
  4. Time Will Tell – Gregory Allan Isakov
  5. A Drop In The Ocean – Ron Pope
  6. November Blue – The Avett Brothers
  7. The Lowering – The Avett Brothers
  8. The Places You Have Come To Fear The Most – Dashboard Confessional
  9. Long Goodnight – The Get Up Kids
  10. First Day Of My Life – Bright Eyes
  11. Hallelujah – Jeff Buckley

I probably could have added more, but let’s not go full on overkill here. These are eleven of the primary songs I’d put on repeat if I needed to get motivated or push myself to further the plot. Hopefully this wasn’t too depressing for everyone else!
